POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Program Coordinator II – Adult Sports position is responsible for monitoring adult softball leagues, coordinating field preparation, serving as a lead employee and addressing issues that arise during games. Daily requirements will include league supervision pertaining to all adult softball league management and support other adult leagues as needed. Recreation staff have the primary responsibility of ensuring the safety of program participants. Will organize, staff and implement 2-3 tournaments a year. Design and maintain league scheduling as well as updates on the City web site. Help with maintenance at the Sports Center to include field prep.
This position works 20 hours, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours needed for makeup games or tournaments that are offered.
The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is constantly performed indoors with occasional outdoor activity. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including summer sun and temperatures, which may exceed 100 degrees, and winter conditions that include snow and freezing temperatures.

RecTrac, team sideline or similar scheduling program, internet for email correspondence and the City website tiles.
